What modes of delivery does Essential Training have available?
Most courses are delivered face to face. This is the preferred mode of delivery for vocational training (accredited courses) and short courses relating to Health and Safety or Emergency Preparedness due to the practical, hands-on nature of the courses.
Some accredited courses have a combined delivery mode that includes a component of e-learning theory to be completed prior to the practical course commencement. Please ensure that you check your inbox/junk mail/spam mailbox for any emails generated from our system to guide you through your course plan and materials.
Can Essential Training deliver training at my workplace?
Yes! We come to you. For most courses, especially Emergency Preparedness Training, we can deliver on your site. If it is your first time requesting training onsite, one of our team members will arrange to visit your site to ensure the training space/facilities are adequate and safe for the type of training to be delivered. Once you are approved for onsite delivery, you will only require another site visit should there be any major changes to your site facilities or access points etc.
Will I receive a certificate upon completion for short courses (accredited or non-award training)?
• Yes, for most of our courses – regardless of the type of training, a certificate of completion is issued.
• For Students who complete nationally accredited training, a ‘Statement of Attainment’ may be issued instead of a qualification in cases where only one or more units of competency have been completed and not a full qualification.
• The only time participants may not receive a certificate of completion is for customised workplace-based Emergency Response or Emergency Preparedness training booked by the employer for staff groups – as a Training Report will be issued to the Employer instead of individual certificates for each participant.
